set of 03xxxxxx.bmp files , when placed in your Multi folder
will display on all planes that are not using sq# codes in Multiplay.On
most sq#s these textures will also display in your cockpit slew
view.This means you can substitute your schemes' lower wing
top , upper wing bottom , tail top and fuselage textures and
usually see those in the cockpit slew view.
The
default textures also come in handy for replacement 3d models
, as you can substitute the proper skins as default on the 'flyable'
slot you've put the alternative 3d model on.In RB3D Arena wargames
, for instance , you can have 2-seaters with proper paints by

Avoid
the effects of UOP SP enhancements in MMP , which in some cases
can getting you "booted" with modified fm , dm or
acspecs data files. By placing these stock files in your "Multi"
folder , you shouldn't need to uninstall SP UOPs to fly on secure
servers.
